Blanco Professional is nominated for the “Internorga Future Award 2020”

For young and established companies with promising ideas, the “Internorga Future Award” is a highly coveted prize. For the Gastronomy Industry ‘Oscar’, the top-class jury selected nine finalists whose submitted concepts are distinguished by a particularly innovative sustainability strategy, high efficiency and responsible action.

The Blanco Professional Group – system provider for commercial kitchens and industry, with headquarters in Oberderdingen, Germany – is one of the three finalists in the “Technology & Equipment” category.

The new Blanco Cook I-flex mobile cooking station was nominated for its combination of well thought-out, future-proof design with state-of-the-art cooking technology and extractor hood in one system. Thanks to induction technology with up to three hobs, the appliance offers great scope for action in the professional kitchen. The cooking station picks up on the trend of preparing food fresh and on the spot, setting new trends especially in event catering, one of the most important growth areas in the out-of-home market.

The winners in the categories “Food & Beverages”, “Technology & Equipment” and “Gastronomy & Hotels” will be honoured and presented with awards on the eve of trade fair Internorga in Hamburg in a festive setting.
